Cocoon
Massage
Booking
A retreat center welcomes a new group almost every week, 20 to 30 people at a time. Massages were booked on a paper sheet at reception: guests wrote their name, phone number and a preferred time, then waited for a therapist to text back a confirmation or a different hour. Slow, easy to lose, and quiet slots stayed quiet.
This webapp replaces the sheet. Guests book from the tablet on site or from their own phone, therapists claim and confirm on the same live board, and it grew from massages into every offering Cocoon has.

Strategy
No accounts and nothing to install. Guests enter a shared code, scroll a board ordered by date with today first, and book in a few taps. The booking starts as Requested with no therapist attached, a free therapist claims it by picking their name, and one tap confirms it. Cancelling and proposing a different hour happen in the same place, so nothing waits on somebody remembering to text back.
It started as a massage app and grew into the booking app for the whole center, split into Nurturing yourself and Have fun: massage, astrology, osteopathy and craniosacral next to horseback riding, surf, paddle and kayak. Whatever Cocoon runs itself uses the same booking form and lands on the same board. Whatever an outside partner runs shows a description and a number you can copy in one tap.
The manager edits offerings, descriptions, contact numbers, therapist photos and bios without touching the code. New Group archives the board for the next arrivals instead of deleting it, so the numbers keep counting across every group. Type, colour and spacing follow the Cocoon site, so it reads as theirs rather than as a tool bolted on.
