A retreat center tracked every expense by hand: someone read each paper receipt and filled a spreadsheet column by column (date, payment method, name, where, if the NIF was used, category, details...) Hundreds of receipts, all about money that has to be right.

This webapp replaces the typing: photograph a receipt and the app reads it, then appends a finished, categorized row to the spreadsheet they already use.

Strategy

1
Photo → a finished spreadsheet row

Snap a receipt and the app detects the date, whether the fiscal/tax number was used, who bought it, the category, the line items, where it was bought, and the details. One tap sends a fully-populated row straight into the spreadsheet they already have.

2
It handles the tedious judgement calls

The hard part was never the math, it was a person reading long receipts, choosing the right category, and summarising what was actually bought (item types and quantities) in the Details column. The app does that read-and-summarise step automatically, and you can review the full ticket in-app.

3
The right first step for something complex

This is money, so data has to be stored safely and correctly. Rather than boil the ocean with year-over-year charts and anomaly detection, we targeted the real bottleneck first: getting receipts into the sheet accurately ( a focused step that removes the most painful, error-prone work today)
